From the airport take a taxi or "tro-tro" to the Medina old road lorry park. Join an Akosombo "trotro" or Kpando "trotro" (you will pay the higher fare). The "trotro" leaves when it is full. Tell the "mate" that you wish to get off at Atimpoku station. Once there you join a shared taxi going to Akwamufie and ask to get off at Black Star Lions. Again you will wait until it is full. You can also hire a taxi "drop-in" from any location if you don't want to wait or share. You will pay a higher fare which covers the other three seats and a little bit extra.
From Accra central (Makola area) go to Tudu station and ask about a "trotro" to Akosombo. As above you will let the "mate" know that you are going to get off at Atimpoku station. Follow the instructions above, from Atimpoku.
